We pull live odds from 30+ sportsbooks via The Odds API every 60 seconds. For each market, our model computes a fair-value probability using historical data, team metrics, and live signals. When a book's implied probability is more than 2% off our model, we surface it as an edge with a confidence score and a Kelly-sized stake recommendation.

What's the Kelly Criterion and why should I care?

Kelly is the mathematically optimal bet size for compounding wealth over time. If you bet too big you blow up; too small and you leave returns on the table. We compute fractional Kelly (¼ to ½) on every slip — the difference between gambling and trading.

How are node payouts funded?

Every trade pays a flat 3% spread to the platform. 50% of that spread flows into the node yield reserve, which pays out to all active nodes daily at 4 PM UTC, pro-rata to stake size and tier APY. As volume grows, payouts grow.

What's the difference between AutoNode and Self-Trading?

Why a 3% spread instead of 5–10% like other books?

Because we don't need fat margins. Traditional books support buildings, marketing, and shareholder dividends. We support smart contracts and a treasury — radically cheaper. The 3% that does flow in goes back to BETX stakers, not a CEO.
